Wyberen wins RESERVE CHAMPION at the Regional Finals in Drentse with Bineke Pietersen on board!! The only Friesian against 15 warmbloods in the competition!īack to back shows for Wyberen this month. Judith Pietersen achieves a 75% at the semi-final for the KHNS 4 year old Most Promising Dressage Friesian Class on Wyberen! We thoroughly enjoyed her and are looking forward to participating in more clinics with her.īineke and Wyberen put in another stunning performance of 69.8% and 72% and have been selected to go to the KFPS National Championships! She was a member of the Swedish Dressage team for many years before becoming a US Citizen. Mette is an incredible rider, trainer and clinician.
Ype participated in a Mette Rosecrantz clinic here in Utah. :( We wish all of our fellow equestrians good luck! Unfortunately, an accident (human, not horse) will prevent us from attending the 2018 USDF Regional Championships. Such great things ahead for this talented boy! Super excited and proud!! Bineke and Wyberen are Reserve Champions at the KFPS Alrako Championships in Ermelo, Netherlands. Judith Pietersen is once again in the saddle and his debut at this level was fantastic with a 69% and First place! Wyberen has earned enough points to move up to the L2 level (first level) in less than a year.
This stallion and rider have exceeded all of our expectations for his first full year of showing!!Įuropean Championships - First round has Judith Pietersen and Wyberen in Third Place with a score of 71.47 in the Four Year Old Competition! The field was huge with 37 horses competiting at this level. The average of the scores they received put them in Third Place overall in the Four Year Old Division. The final round had Judith Pietersen and Wyberen with the highest score of 69.47%. She was very pleased with the Black Magic Farms horses and the progress they have acheived!Įuropean Championships - BRONZE FOR WYBEREN AND JUDITH!!! Judith Pietersen was here for a three day clinic and everyone really enjoyed her instruction. We are super excited to be attending the Friesian Proms in the Netherlands in January 2020! We will be assisting Judith Pietersen with a clinic presentation featuring Wyberen, an evening performance featuring Limited Edition and a horse show with a lovely mare Judith has been competing! We are hoping that 2021 will allow us to compete and show how far we've come in the last year. All the horses have surpassed our expectations, including Easabelle who has shown us this year that she is her father's daughter, displaying both his talent and intelligence under saddle. We stayed home and just decided to train for the year. Unfortunately, due to Covid, our 2020 year was a bust for horse shows. We miss his big, goofy presence in our barn every day. With great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Doerak at the age of 29. Wyberen is coming to America!!! We are so exited to have this talented boy in our stable over here and can't wait to compete with him. We are very excited to see the talents this impressive stallion can bring to the Friesian breed. His debut in the USA was equally impressive, with scores in the 70's at Second and Third Level. Ype also received the highest score ever achieved by a Friesian in the Subli Cup - 80.2%. Even though his move to the USA prevented him from participating in the finals, his high scores enabled him to finish 6th out of a field of 67 warmbloods. In his short career in the Netherlands, this exceptional stallion was able to qualify for the finals of the Subli-Cup (the Netherlands equivalent to the FEI 5 year old test) with only three rides out of seven rides possible. In 2012, we imported the 5 year old stallion Ype (pronounced E-Pa) (Tsjabring 429 Sport x Naen 264 Preferent). We are also extremely lucky to have our horses receive training from some of the top clinicians out there. Under their guidance our horses have won numerous awards, both locally and nationally. Margo is a USDF gold medal rider and trainer who has taken many young horses to the Grand Prix level. Judith is a renown Friesian trainer, rider, judge and clinician who has competed in and won prestigious competitions in Europe against talented warmbloods. We are proud to have as our coaches Judith Pietersen from Friesland and Margo Gogan from Utah.
Our focus is on producing the finest Friesians for dressage, and all of our horses possess a willing, intelligent personality as well as exceptional movement. Our love for the Friesian breed has existed for over 43 years and we were proud to bring the first Friesian into the state of Utah nearly 30 years ago.
